Old Testament
Psalms 121
The Pilgrim's Keeper
Overview
A Song of Ascent sung by pilgrims journeying to Jerusalem, Psalm 121 moves from the pilgrim's gaze toward the hills and his confession that all help comes from Yahweh alone, to a sustained proclamation that this same Lord — the tireless Guardian who neither slumbers nor sleeps, who stands as protective shade at his people's right hand — watches over every step and every dimension of life, now and forevermore.
